Frequently Asked Questions

Hi Queen,
I'm happy you're here. You're probably trying to problem-solve your way into something or trying to fix someone so you feel better about yourself because you're so good at it.
On the flip side, you find yourself overthinking, worried, asking everyone around you for their input, rehashing the story so you can get it off your chest and feel seen, taking on so much because you're super capable, and not wanting to disappoint anyone... so you say “yes” to everyone but you.
Part of you knows the answer you're looking to validate already, whether by data or by decisions from other people.
Part of you knows you're salvaging something or someone because you've already invested so much, and you need to keep the act up.
You might also find yourself running on autopilot so often that you're unsure of what you even like anymore.
You've kept the peace for so long, you're now left in pieces.
My heart goes out to you because you've been doing your best with what you have and with what you know. I think it's pretty incredible that you're here reading this letter and figuring out how to get to the next level.
You know that what got you here isn't what will get you there, and I'd love to guide you on how.
Let's take this journey together where we rise to our fullest potential, where we push ourselves to dream bigger, and where we actually do the very things we really want to do.
Sometimes, you might repeat the things you said you'd do differently. Sometimes, you get so motivated and have the best intentions, but you get tired of trying, the people around you just don't get it, nor do they want the same things, and that affects you, too. Sometimes, you just need someone else to believe in you and see you differently.
Queen, I believe in you and I want to see you succeed.
Influential, high-performing, and joyful women have support systems, accountability, and instructors that help them reach their goals faster.
If you’re new to taking online courses, welcome! I hope you’re able to find gems in this masterclass and actually apply them so you stand taller, you walk with determination, and you recognize the woman in the mirror again.
When you take self-development or leadership classes, you navigate situations with more awareness, versus, walking blindly into new situations that you then have a tough time maneuvering.
Inside The Regnant Queen masterclass, you're learning why your brain self-sabotages you and how to get around it directly and in bite-sized pieces.
We are collapsing timelines so we don't have to learn everything the hard way.
We can get closer to that feminine, soft life while still yielding actual leverage and power.
You'll leave with thoughts better formed because you're learning how to work with your brain while building your leadership skills, which makes you more decisive and, dare I say, dangerous to anyone who doubts you.
When you take this class, you show yourself that you're worth investing in.
You'll fall in love with learning more about yourself.
You'll understand others better because you had to work through that inner discomfort.
You'll show up in spaces fully engaged and aligned with what you like, what you value, and what you care about.
You'll realize how people start to trust you with bigger projects and teams because you put in the work that made you trust in your abilities.
You'll start new experiences that you once needed permission for, make new conversations because you now find others intriguing, and my favorite part, you'll emerge from the shadows and the performance you once played, ready to shine and reveal your true self.
And how beautiful is that?
See you in class,
Mahbuba, The Royal Academy for Queens

THE REGNANT QUEEN
Become the woman who can hold the life she's asking for.
You have goals.
You have responsibilities.
You know you're capable of more.
But the next version of your life cannot be built entirely from the same thoughts, fears, habits, and expectations that got you here.
The Regnant Queen
is a practical mindset masterclass for women who want to sharpen the way they think, strengthen the way they speak, and carry themselves with greater self-trust and authority.
Not by becoming louder.
Not by pretending to be fearless.
Not by turning yourself into someone you don't recognize.
By learning how to rule your mind instead of letting your mind rule you.
[START THE REGNANT QUEEN
]
---
What is a Regnant Queen?
Historically, a queen regnant rules in her own right.
She isn't simply standing beside someone else's power.
That distinction inspired this masterclass.
Because there may be areas of your life where you're technically in charge, but fear, perfectionism, old conditioning, other people's reactions, or your past are still making far too many of the decisions.
Regnant Queen is about noticing that.
Interrupting it.
And choosing differently.
Because you cannot build an extraordinary life while constantly asking fear for permission.
---
I use this work too.
I didn't create Regnant Queen because I reached some magical point where fear, overthinking, discomfort, or self-doubt disappeared.
I still use this work myself.
Especially as my ambitions get bigger.
When I put myself forward for something more visible.
When I speak up.
When I build something I haven't built before.
When I have to advocate for myself.
When I take a risk without knowing exactly how it will turn out.
When the next level asks me to tolerate a new level of discomfort.
I come back to these tools.
That's why I think of this as the tool that keeps on giving.
You don't master self-leadership once and put it away.
Your life changes.
Your responsibilities increase.
Your ambitions get bolder.
And the same principles meet you at a completely different level.
Catch it. Question it. Decide who is in charge. Move.
---
This is deeper than confidence.
Confidence is part of it.
But I'm interested in what happens after you tell yourself to "believe in yourself."
What happens when you need to:
Speak up in the room.
Tell someone what you actually need.
Stop replaying something that happened years ago.
Make a decision without asking five people to validate it.
Let another adult manage their own emotions.
Publish the thing.
Submit yourself for the opportunity.
Set the boundary.
Stop laughing along with something you don't actually find funny.
Allow yourself to be misunderstood without immediately scrambling to fix everyone's perception of you.
That is where confidence becomes behavior.
And behavior is where your life begins to change.
---
Your voice is not a burden.
A lot of women have been rewarded for being easy to accommodate.
Be agreeable.
Don't make it awkward.
Keep the peace.
Smile.
Let it go.
Don't make anyone uncomfortable.
Maybe they'll figure out what you need without you having to say it.
And then resentment quietly builds because everyone around you is operating with incomplete information.
Using your voice is not inherently selfish, aggressive, difficult, or disrespectful.
Sometimes speaking clearly is the most considerate thing you can do.
You communicate what matters.
Other people get the opportunity to respond.
You stop expecting people to read your mind.
And you stop carrying responsibility for every adult's emotional response to your honesty.
You can be gracious and still have a voice.
You can be feminine and direct.
You can love people without disappearing inside their expectations.
---
Maybe you're not stuck.
Maybe you've reached the limit of an old operating system.
You can be highly capable and still have patterns that need updating.
You can be successful and still second-guess yourself.
You can be intelligent and still catastrophize.
You can have accomplished things you once prayed for and discover that your next ambition brings up a completely new fear.
Every level asks something different of you.
The question is whether you recognize what is happening before you automatically retreat to what feels familiar.
---
Inside The Regnant Queen
This isn't about collecting more motivational information.
It's about recognizing what happens in your actual life.
Notice what's been ruling you.
Identify the thoughts, stories, assumptions, and automatic reactions influencing your decisions.
Crown Installation
Where am I allowing an old fear, identity, thought, or expectation to make a current decision for me?
---
Stop letting the past keep voting on your future.
There is a difference between learning from the past and repeatedly reopening it.
Thinking isn't always solving.
At some point, you take the lesson and give your attention back to the life in front of you.
Crown Installation
What am I repeatedly reopening that I have already learned enough from?
---
Catch the pattern before you become the pattern.
Negative thoughts don't disappear because someone tells you to "think positive."
You learn to notice them.
Name them.
Question them.
Interrupt them.
And practice another response.
Crown Installation
Which recurring thought pattern most often changes my behavior?
---
Use your voice.
This became one of the most powerful parts of the masterclass for early viewers.
Because using your voice isn't simply about talking more.
It's about becoming more congruent.
Your words, values, boundaries, actions, and actual opinions begin matching.
Crown Installation
Where am I making myself smaller, quieter, or more agreeable than I actually want to be?
---
Stop managing emotions that don't belong to you.
You are responsible for your communication.
Your integrity.
Your behavior.
You are not responsible for orchestrating every adult's emotional response to your choices.
You can be compassionate without becoming responsible for everyone's comfort.
Crown Installation
Whose emotions am I trying to manage for them?
---
This is how I teach.
I'm a practical person.
My instinct in leadership, operations, coaching, and my own life is usually:
What is actually happening?
What's underneath it?
Where is the friction?
What is within my control?
What needs a system?
What needs a boundary?
What needs to be said?
What is the next move?
Sometimes you don't need another six months of thinking about something.
Sometimes one question, one reframe, or one conversation helps you see the problem differently enough to move again.
That's what I want this masterclass to do.
---
And this is where The Royal Academy for Queens
is different.
There are mindset programs.
There are confidence courses.
There are etiquette schools.
There are style programs.
There are career programs.
There are programs about money.
Programs about wellness.
Programs about relationships.
Programs about productivity.
I kept finding pieces.
I wanted the whole woman.
So I built the Academy differently.
TRAQ treats your life as an interconnected system.
Your mindset affects how you speak.
Your environment affects how you function.
Your health affects what you can carry.
Your money affects your options.
Your communication affects your relationships.
Your preparedness affects how confidently you move through uncertainty.
Your professional skills affect the rooms you can enter.
Your reputation affects what happens once you're inside them.
Your relationships affect your legacy.
So I don't want to develop one isolated part of you and leave everything else untouched.
I want to build your capacity across your life.
---
You're not learning how to look elevated.
You're building the infrastructure to live at a higher level.
That difference matters to me.
I don't want to teach you how to appear powerful before helping you become more capable of holding power.
I don't want to teach elegance without judgment.
Confidence without competence.
Ambition without responsibility.
Money without stewardship.
Visibility without discretion.
Leadership without character.
Or self-development that ends with becoming endlessly fascinated with yourself.
The goal is capacity.
To become increasingly capable of handling your life.
And then increasingly capable of contributing beyond yourself.
---
That's why the Academy is built in layers.
We begin internally.
Your mind.
Your identity.
Your environment.
Your decisions.
Your resilience.
Your voice.
Then we begin expanding outward.
Presence.
Style.
Communication.
Culture.
Health.
Relationships.
Professionalism.
Wealth.
Preparedness.
Strategy.
Diplomacy.
Influence.
Leadership.
Legacy.
There is an order to this.
Regnant before Stylish.
Grounded before Elegant.
Prepared before Powerful.
Because becoming polished is not the same thing as becoming capable.
The Royal Academy for Queens
is designed to develop both.
---
This isn't a traditional finishing school.
But it isn't not a finishing school either.
Yes, we'll talk about the beautiful things.
How you dress.
How you host.
How you communicate.
How you move through different rooms.
How you become more cultured, elegant, socially confident, and polished.
But that's only part of the education.
A modern woman also needs to know how to:
Make a difficult decision.
Manage her money.
Advocate for herself.
Navigate a workplace.
Protect her reputation.
Recognize risk.
Create systems.
Take care of her health.
Prepare for emergencies.
Build relationships.
Communicate under pressure.
Lead.
And use whatever power she acquires responsibly.
That is my version of a modern finishing school.
Not simply teaching a woman which fork to use.
Teaching her how to carry a bigger life.
---
You are allowed to want a beautiful life without hating the woman you are today.
This isn't self-improvement through self-rejection.
You can appreciate the woman who got you here while recognizing that she isn't your final form.
She survived things.
Built things.
Learned things.
Carried things.
Made mistakes.
Made brilliant decisions.
Got you here.
And now she gets to continue evolving.
You can be both the masterpiece and the woman still holding the paintbrush.
---
This is not about becoming the center of the universe.
I care just as much about what happens after a woman becomes stronger.
Can she light another candle?
Can she advocate for someone with less power in the room?
Can she raise capable children?
Can she mentor another woman?
Can she create opportunities?
Can she employ people?
Can she handle more responsibility without losing her character?
Can the life she builds eventually become bigger than her?
The purpose of developing yourself isn't simply becoming more impressed with yourself.
It's increasing what you are capable of carrying, creating, contributing, and giving.
---
What early viewers noticed
«"The most powerful part of your series is when you talk about using your voice."»
«"Your course is a lot deeper than etiquette and a finishing school."»
«"I love how you talk about finding your voice...using your voice is better for everyone involved."»
«"I think a lot of us, especially women, end up managing other people's emotions when it's really on everyone to manage our own emotions."»
«"It shows that you want to see women flourish."»
And one comment especially stayed with me:
«"You are a natural coach."»
Because that's how I want this to feel.
Not like you're sitting alone collecting another folder of information.
I want you to hear me asking:
Okay. What does this mean for your actual life?
---
Especially if you've been taught to "keep the peace."
Some women have been taught, explicitly or indirectly, that goodness means accommodation.
Be pleasant.
Be grateful.
Don't embarrass anyone.
Don't make trouble.
Don't ask for too much.
Don't draw too much attention.
Don't make anyone uncomfortable.
For many Muslim, South Asian, immigrant, and culturally traditional women, these messages can become tangled with femininity, family, culture, respect, or faith.
But humility does not require erasing yourself.
Grace does not require silence.
And having a voice does not mean abandoning your values.
The goal isn't rebellion for rebellion's sake.
The goal is learning to stand firmly in what matters while still behaving with wisdom, character, and consideration for other people.
---
The head that wears the crown is heavy.
As your life expands, so do your responsibilities.
More people may rely on you.
More money may pass through your hands.
More visible decisions may carry your name.
More opportunities may require courage before confidence arrives.
More rooms may require you to speak.
More success may require you to tolerate being misunderstood.
And bigger ambitions may expose fears you thought you'd already conquered.
That's exactly why this work keeps giving.
You don't graduate from self-leadership.
You use it at the next level.
I do too.
---
You don't need to become fearless.
You need to become less obedient to fear.
Fear may come with you.
Discomfort probably will too.
The goal isn't to wait until you feel perfectly ready.
The question is:
Who is making the decision?
You?
Or the feeling?
That is the difference between simply wearing the crown and becoming regnant.
